How to Fix an Android that Won't Charge Properly

Android won't charge properly? Device charge slowly? Do not assume that your Android phone charger and the battery and broken. Solution 1. Fix USB Port
Due to a manufacturing defect and frequent plugging into the computer, the microUSB port and the USB cable cannot make seamless contact. So, repairing the USB port can be the quickest and easiest way to solve the problem. Moreover, it is also the most successful solution. Here's how.

 

• Shut down your Android phone.
• If possible, remove the battery of your Android phone.
• Use something small, toothpick for example, to gently lever up the little tab inside the USB port.
• Insert the battery again.

Solution 2. Clean the USB Port
There can be lint, candy, and dust in the USB port of your Android phone. A can of compressed air can blow out such things and clean the USB port so that it can get back to normal.

Endless flexing and curling can damage the USB cable. First, diagnose your USB cable by trying a different one and see whether it works or not. If it doesn't, change other USB cables and have a try.

Solution 5. Update/Download Android or Software Version
Software updates and Android system updates can destroy the battery life. Try to downgrade the Android device to an earlier version. However, sometimes an update is able to improve the life of your device battery. So if you are far behind on your Android application version. Check update by going to "Settings" > "About phone".
