Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram Down? Problems & Fixes

Unable to send messages on Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp? Couldn't refresh feed on Instagram? You are not alone. Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp is currently down for many users worldwide.

The outage started around 16:00 GMT on March 13 with users from New England; Texas; Seattle, Washington; parts of Europe, including the UK; Australia; New Zealand and more reporting problems in accessing features on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, including Messenger for desktop can't load, Instagram can't load post with the "couldn't refresh feed" error, messages won't send via WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger. Some users even had trouble signing into Spotify, Tinder, etc. using a Facebook account.

Facing this severe outage that affected Facebook's three main products, Facebook confirmed the down outage of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp on Twitter, but it also noted that "the issue is not related to a DDoS attack."

The outage is still on-going. We tried to share a post to our Facebook account and got an error message as follow.

Apparently, Facebook is still working on the issues. There is nothing we can do about it except wait for Facebook to work things out.
